Military Veteran Zahra Karinshak Announces Outstanding Fundraising Numbers

Zahra Karinshak, an Air Force veteran and former federal prosecutor, has raised over $145,000 towards her campaign for State Senate in District 48. This open seat, which voted for Hillary Clinton by six points, encompasses Berkeley Lake, Duluth, Johns Creek, Lawrenceville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Suwanee, and parts of Alpharetta.

“It is truly an honor to have the trust of over 450 donors who want to move our state forward,” Karinshak said. “Having served my country in the Air Force and as a prosecutor, I know how to work with others to solve complex problems,” she added.

Karinshak graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in the ninth class to include women. She then served as an intelligence officer during the first Gulf War. Returning home, Karinshak worked as an Assistant United States Attorney and as counsel to Governor Roy Barnes. Today, Karinshak exposes government corruption and recovers taxpayer dollars as a whistleblower attorney.
